In 2022 and 2023, Iota will support Space Telescope Science Institute, the center that performs scientific operations for Hubble and James Webb, as they work to make astronomical data analysis more accessible to people with disabilities.

Negotiated Access

Negotiated Access: Haccessibility, Autonomy, and Infrastructure in the Age of the Abstraction is a dissertation and book project that explores how to contend with, and live within, systems over which we have little control.

Foundations for Research Computing

Foundations builds community and skills around research computing at Columbia University, and in its first three years trained over 3,0000 graduate student and postdoctoral researchers at over 85 events.

DHRI Curriculum

In 2017 and 2018, I led curriculum development for the Digital Research Institute, a week-long technical intensive for researchers. The curriculum for the DRI includes a wide variety of modules on both technical fundamentals and advanced topics.
